i would run colder spark plugs but you dont have to, but everything else can stay stock.

Run TR6 and change from stock gap to 0.040. you'll reduce the chance of detonation which will be your biggest ennemy. If you never need to go above a 125 shot get the 5177 kit. It's pretty complete except for a bottle warmer and a pill box (Which you don't really need with A4 anyway)

naw, i would definately recommend the rpm window switch with any shot over 125. trust me, you dont wanna spray through the gears on a 4l60E unless you have money to frequently replace trannys. also the best kit on the market IMO is TNT F2...it did wonders on my car. NX GM kit is another good choice, very reliable. but definately get the MSD window switch.

3-4 bands/clutches are what usualy goes. I never spray into 4th but I've done it with up to 100 dry (80rwhp) from 1--->2--->3 many times (MANY) with no problem.
With 160 dry (128rwhp) I kick it from 2nd through 3rd and still no problem.
Take mileage of tranny into consideration IMO.

4thGEN..your experience may not represent everyone's experience.i would definately get the window. my 2-3 clutches ate **** before the 3-4 clutches. that goes to show you not all trannies behave the same.

Yeap I agree, risk gets higher as shot gets bigger.
IMO with a 75 shot risk is minimal (Especialy dry which is only about 60rwhp). On a stock car (Or any) that is peanuts.
