Children... lol. I appreciate advice on both sides, but please stick to the topic. Didn't start a thread to get it hijacked and turned into a pissing contest.

Mine would also be around what shiz said above with a little more lift. You would have to choose the best lobe to work as well. It all comes down to personal preference and what you want out of the car.

Yeah dude Im about to install my ms3 and will be daily driving it, and im with you I wanna be a DD 11 sec car.
The ms3 would get you there no problem if you want a off the shelf VERY popular na or n2o cam the ms3 is a good choice!
Or get patrick g or someone thats credible to spec you a n2o cam...but the easy solution is ms3 It will do good on motor and spray!

We had a full weight cam only car with 150 shot going 10.50's 3 years ago.
If you shut you coksukr and listen to some guys that have been where your trying to go you may be able get there a little faster and spend less money on the way.

I have the MS3 in my car. It was Installed and dyno tuned by a sponser here (www.sickspeedperformance.com) and I DD my car. I have put over 14k on the car sense the cam install and I havent had a single problem and this includes driving my car from upstate NY to Myrtle beach SC. ALL motor, I put down 412rwhp. Stock 10 bolt, stock ls6 intake manifold and stock 241 heads. Cars a beast and is a blast to drive....
this winter when the car is away I will be adding a 100 shot to make the beast even more of a beast. I just had 4.10 gears installed last weekend and holy ****, they woke the car up even more from the 3.42's!!!
Theirs a **** load of videos of m car on youtube. Idle videos, race videos etc.....racing a few pullied cobra's, 11 second Audi S4's and Honda's. Just jump on you tube and do a search with MS3 Camaro SS. Its white. Most videos are night videos tho.

i understand that you seem to think your the next patrick G, but the MS3 is a good NA or spray cam that has put up GREAT numbers, is very tunable, drivable, and relatively inexpensive. It also works great with bone stock heads, ported stock casting, or heads like AFR/TF while not requiring flycutting unless you are milled a good bit...a good sounding option for OP....
the cam options you threw up are pretty broad for someone asking for straight forward response, and imo not the greatest specs...
and just to humor you the MS3 is a 237/242 .603/.609 on your choice of 112/113/114 lsa, and as stated a bit higher lsa would be suitable for spray, also the larger duration and lift on the exhaust side would also compliment the spray without sacrificing NA power...
he also stated that he would match his converter to his cam, so a 3600-4k would do fine....and exhaust/weight shouldnt be much of an issue with cam choice while under the curve or high rpm range power curves should be what your looking at, but since he is going for track power, the ms3 again is a good choice
so stick that in your pipe an smoke it..

I don't think im the next anuy thing. But i have ground and raced alot of cams. We had a 3600lb cam only car run 10.5 all day on a stock 10 bolt and 4l60. Not a shelf grind....
When i posted my ideas he did not have any of the info thats why i put it out there. everyones idea of the perfect cam is different some want it supper smoth pulls hard up top for street stuff some just care about 1/4 mile et. he said he was going to daily drive it.
either way i put what i think. i bet you have never had 2 cams with only a few degrees different and know what the difference is.

and my car first time out after doing a head swap (bone stock 243's) and tuning the day before racing ran the time in my sig and was consistenly getting faster, should go 11.70's on motor and im hoping to get in the 10.80 range on spray...so you can reference for mods...but an lq4 shouldnt have a problem running in the 11's cam only..

Im either going to go with the MS3 or a custom grind. i would love it to be choppy just for the fun factor of driving it around town but want a cam that has good power from 3000 to 6500. Don't need to push it above 6500. Its gonna be a DD but wanna spray it into the high to mid 11s with stock heads or just ported a bit. I see to many dyno graphs that ppl post of like "My car made 430 at the wheels!" But what alot of ppl don't mention is that 300 rpm in front of the peak, is like 60 to 80 horse (Or whatever just making up an example) below the peak and then it falls flat on its face. Its cool to have high numbers but if its in one spot, its useless to me in a streetcar.

What rpm range is n2o the best in? And to everyone fighting, I don't care who's e-dick is bigger. Grow up and stick to the topic. Tired of scrolling through stuff that pointless. I asked a very simple non-complex question. So please stick to answers that pertain to the post. Other than that, GTFO

No the statement wasn't directed to you. I mean everyone fighting and whatever. I appreciate your advice and really look forward to see if we can come up with a custom grind. My comment was directed to ppl that jump into the thread just to argue. Thats all.

I daily drive an MS3. Peaky power band for sure. I'd need a 4.30 on motor, or a 3.73-3.90 on spray to get it working 100%. I still have the factory 3.23 with a tight'ish nitrous converter.
As far as who you should take advice from. Your choice:
-The guy that's been 8.90 on nitrous
-The guy that's been 10.80 with a 9.90 combo.
hmm...
