when is it beneficial to go solid roller. I've heard guys talk about turning their hydraulic rollers to about 8k with the right parts. Do solid rollers really pick up the bottom end torque that much?
Does the morel lifter drop in the Ls2 block? Also, solid roller springs, if I'm running a crane 99893 now, is there solid roller springs (good ones) that will work with that diameter?
I'm gonna have the motor apart, I was looking at just putting a little more race/nitrous orientated cam in the car, maybe swap to a super victor too, but if I can do a solid roller setup by purchasing a drop in lifter, pushrods, springs camshaft and the rockers, I might do it. Not a big *** solid roller like that, maybe something in the high 260 duration with 700 lift, that would probably be a decent power increase, maybe enough so I will be really close to running the 9.50 index on motor, or just a tine shot to push it over, maybe just for 3rd gear or something.
Rockers, I'm sure there's a bunch of options that will bolt on the ET heads and work, anyone have some options, not the world record setting ones, just a good solid reliable option?
