ATV, How much timing do you guys end up with on yours when it's jetted for 400? (If you don't mind me asking)
Only if the track is really bad.

8* is safe for our combo, 10* is leaning on it a little bit.

I ran the numbers for a .031 jet at 900psi and came up with 932.5 lbs/hr. 6.79n/f ratio
.O31 at 1000. 982.9 lbs/hr. 7.15n/f
.026 at 900 659.4 lbs/hr. 6.6sn/f
.026 at 1000 695 lb/hr. 7.00n/f

These are possible values but could differ by line size and restrictions based on the jet and fuel pressure you listed.

I'm bringing this one back up because I need ya'll guys to keep talking. I'm learning alot with just reading what you guys are talking about. I'm all for not burning up pistons.

Can somebody post up some pics of a plug after a good nitrous pass?

Can you also point out some of the details on the plug to show what it is I am looking for such as the timing mark, fuel mark and so on?

Here's a good detailed set of pictures of spark plugs. Lots of information here on it too.

No offense but I wouldn't use that as my guide.... Those plugs look like ****. Even the ones that he said were really close looked too rich and over timed.

I was actually looking for those pics earlier to give him an idea of what he wants them to look like.

The Q16 puts the yellowish tint on the plug so depending on the fuel you use the "tint"
will be different.

C23 doesnt leave any tint so its just a timing mark and light gray fuel ring.
