You should easily reach the 11's.

However just be aware (and you already seem to be) of the following formula....

M6 + Drag Radials + Nitrous = -1 10bolt

Not to say it can't and hasn't been done and not looking to start a debate. Just have a trailer handy.

The car had 3.42's. I was spraying as soon as the foot hit the floor (every gear, out of the hole). Best 60 on the juice on the six speed was like a 1.9 (not too bad for a car with NO suspension mods). The problem was, it kept spinning out further... I would have to roll into 2nd on the bottle to keep it planted (which was no fun, so I never did it LOL). I'll see if I can dig up a video of one of the worst et/trap speed combos I had...

Six speeds are violent at the track, add the torque of nitrous and it only gets worse.

Put a set of NGK BR7EF plugs in it and get it tuned to pull timing/ensure AF before spraying it... Shutthe car down wide open at the end of the pass and pull the plugs on the first few passes...

Well, take the TR6's back out and put some BR7EF's in it before you spray it.

They are a projected tip plug and the heat range is on the verge of being (if not already) too hot for use with nitrous. They can cause a "hot spot" which will lead to detonation. Detonation + Nitrous = New Forged Shortblock

Matter of opinion, i have successfully run tr6's and so have thousands of other people. A bandwagon gets started and people jump on it. I would and am spraying a 150 on tr6s, however i wouldnt spray any larger shot on tr6s. A 175 or 200 and even higher i would run br7efs. Tuned correctly on a 150 you will have no problems with tr6s. Proven fact.

OP - Get the BR7EF's

505OUTLAWZWS6 - It is a "proven fact" that many people have gotten away with running a non-nitrous specific plug in a nitrous application. That does not mean it's the "best" plug for the OP. Hell, if you got Shiz and ATV in here they's probably tell him to throw a 10 in there and let it eat.

I dont know about the BR7EF. But on my bone stock 98 with 150 wet shot i run tr6s and all i have done is adjust timing. i have run atleast 30 bottles on this engine and have had zero problems. engine is around 150k

Still rocking the stock ten bolt with a th400 and a 4800 stall. car weighs 3200 and has gone 10.94 and 122. has yanked the left front plenty of times. i am also on a stock torque arm.

if you can drive a 6spd then mid 11s all day.

Just because people have done it and not hurt anything doesn't mean that it is the correct thing to do. If you want to take the risk of melting the ground straps off and possibly hurting your heads/pistons/block then go right ahead.

You get on here and ask for advice, people try to help you and you ignore them.... ****** idiot.

Some people like what they want and some dont so what makes god who can tell people they are wrong about proven things. It is proven that Tr6s work well with 100-150 shot of nitrous with the right tune. You run what you want but dont ty and put people down like they are stupid. I had Tr6s on my SS and NEVER EVER had a problem and the car ran great. Plenty of other people can say the exact same thing.

Like I said before, just because it has worked for some people doesn't make it the correct thing to do. Projected tipped plugs are not meant to be used with nitrous. How ****** hard is that to understand? Did I say that it would for sure cause problems? No. I am just trying to give people correct information so that they are not mis-led by people that are not as experienced.
I have used TR6's in the past without any problems myself and I have also melted the ground straps off of them. If you have a nitrous setup that you are trying to get the most out of then you CANNOT run TR6's. If you back the timing off far enough you could run TR55's. I prefer to get the most out of my **** so I put the right parts in it. I'm willing to bet when you had your car "tuned" for nitrous you didn't pull a single plug out to read it....

Go ahead and keep using projected tip plugs in your nitrous setups. If you had a clue what the hell you were doing they wouldn't be in there. Go ahead and be another mindless lemming like 90% of the others on this board.

I'm about sick and ****** tired of trying to give people good advice and getting **** for it. It's becoming really clear why most of the more knowledgeable people don't get on here anymore.

I'd like to hear your opinion of what "tuned correctly" is????

I'm betting that you are gonna tell me how it has a great A/F ratio.
