either the msd 8680 or 8975, I have the 8975 and i like it but i would much rather have the 8680 bc you can mount it in car and just by the turn of 1 *** you can pull timing.

Let me get this staight. I got nitrous installed on my transam and have yet to use it due to it being on the stock tune. Im getting some timing pulled out with hptuners here soon. So whats the disadvantage of not being able to add the timing back when nitrous isn't being used? Meaning:going all motor? No hijacking intended.

EFI live custom operating system best of both worlds when you arm the kit it pulls the timing.

Im using the LPE-002 to pull my timing. Going with bigger injectors/full pump and gonna start with 8* pulled from a 150 shot

Unfortunatly I dont have hp tuners so thats not an option.

I ran with 4 degrees out and colder plugs and it slowed down .15 and 2mph. Going to be even more when I take 6 out for the 150 hit.

I guess your looking for what I am in pulling timing when on nitrous and having it back when N.A.. I've tossed this around for awhile and feel for me the Horsepower in a box Timing Tuner would be my best bet. It can pull up to 12 deg of timing when on the bottle and revert back when Nitrous isn't armed. I haven't set up my system yet but will run it in conjunction with the HSW microedge. I will not need a window switch ,which the Timing Tuner will do if wanted, but will use the microedge for that function. The LNC-002 looks like an easier install for pulling timing (it can pull 15 deg) as it hooks into the coil pack wiring from what I understand where the Timing Tuner hooks into the crank sensor plug. This is a PIA for me as I have to remove the pass side header and drop the starter motor in order to get to the crank sensor plug. The LNC-002 is more money and I wouldn't use the launch control function as I have CATS on my car so it would be used only for timing pulls. So for the money the Timing Tuner was my choice. Now if I was without CATS I would go for the LNC-002.

If the Lnc-002 is easier to install, I'll pay the extra money.

I have an MSD Timing twister and it is super nice. Very easy to use, and straight forward install.

A homemade cts tricker box my tuner made similar to this pic:
He modified the wot timing tables from his software, so it'll take out a certain amount of timing from a flip of a switch. It's also wired so the nitrous will not arm unless the timing switch is on. I don't have to worry about forgetting to flip the switch and hurting my motor like I did this past summer.

i had my tuner pull the timing for my nitrous, but then i use a timing tuner to add that timing back in. Best timing for both worlds...and if the timing tuner where to crap out while spraying im still okay
