We dont recommend running them. I know some guys love them, but you can do so many things with the good MSD boxes (7531) that you can get around not using one.

I see. I only have the weak 7530t so i need one lmfao. here is some updates from the track:
Went to the track tonight, made 3 motor passes trying to get the 2step set and the suspension working. Went to make a nitrous pass, nitrous would not work. I thought maybe it was not hitting the WOT switch. Checked it, good. Tried making another nitrous pass. After waiting for the jackass in his beatup nova who thought he has to do a NHRA burnout then dry hop it 5 times, then get his friend to line him up in the groove, which took him backing up 3 times, I was so damn pissed but I tried footbraking it, and leaving on the bottle, nope nothing. Went back around found no power going to the relays, fuse is good. So going to check it tomorrow and weather permitting we will take it out tomorrow night.

Man you can still do alot of stuff with that box. Dont be affraid to knock a bunch of timing out of it to get it to leave on those radials when you are spraying it. You can use that box to do alot of different things and you wont have to be putting plungers in the
N2O solenoids often. But thats just my opinon.

haha I know it has some nice options for the timing retard and everything on the launch. I found out the hard way last night that it had some rev limiter built in the limited it to 2000rpm 9 seconds after leaving on the transbrake. That could have been a very bad thing.

Man that blows. Gotta love electrical issues. Always seem to get us. Hopefully you can get out tonight and get some results. Headed to the track here in a little. Without the car though.

Well went to the track tonight. Made 2 motor passes. Warmed the bottle, good burnout track was decent<My car was hooking and 60' good at least> so decided to leave on the trans brake and bottle. Came of the trans brake and exploded the center section. Guess I have to get a center section, new gears, new pinion support, possibly a yoke and driveshaft too. Oh well it's just money right?
