Default NX Dual Nozzle Kit What Jets for 100 Shot?

I have a NX dual Nozzle Kit for my 2001 C5 Vette. Been a longtime since I sprayed and am getting it ready and tuned on dyno this weekend. Got fresh bottle, buying a NEW NX Electric Pressure Gauge for $250 (to replace the one I have which the place says is broken) and used it literlly 5 times. Can't got back a year or so later and say I only used it 5 times. Got it from N. Dave, but he is just thye guy selling it. Anyway on to the matter at hand and enough crying...

Oh well just want it to be RIGHT! Main Question:

Just want to Confirm What # NX Nitorus and Fuel Jets do I use to spray 100 Shot on my DUAL NOZZLE NX Kit????

Is shows #35 Nitorus #18 Fuel is for 50 HP on a Single Jet Chart, so I guess if I do that on BOTH Sides, is that 100????????

Other info if you feel inclined to read it:

Going to dyno it. Will make sure I have TRACTION CONTROL OFF. When should I set the nitrous to spray (Have a TPS/WOT switch an electric MSD Window Switch so I can set RPM's for ON and OFF)? Shifting my Automatioc at 6500 I think (need to check when I'm there) Rev is at 6800 (If I remeber).

MODS:

I have a Yank SS3600 Stall, 3.42 Gears, a Beefed up RPM Transmission (not the one that was in Lewisville) 228/228 .588/.588 114 LSA Cam, Patriot 59CC heads, Kooks LT Heads, no cats, Ported TB, Under Drvie Pulley, Airbox, and have the Dual Niozzle into a TNT Power Ring. Have a Fuel Pressure Saftey Switch, heater, remote opener, etc etc etc

And a Big Show Purge from Nitro Dave... LOL

Maybe you should start ANOTHER thread, and ask again.

No, the math is totally different on a dual nozzle setup. For a 100 rwhp shot you should start with 35N and 22F in each nozzle. And then adjust the fuel jets based on bottle pressure, dyno tune, and reading the plugs at the track. Oh and trash those TR6s for some "NGK 7s"

Thanks WS6 and Built.

So 35N and 22 Fuel is 100 shot??????????????????? Are you SURE??

Anyone else confirm, please. i am sure WS knows hsi stuff but with nitorus, double checking is always the right thing to do

35/18 is good if your fuel pressure is around 55.
35/22 might be a bit on the rich side.

Check the AFRs and do ditch the TR6s for some "7s"

As I originally said, the NX chart shows #35 Nitorus #18 Fuel is for 50 HP shot on a Single Jet Chart, basically what A3 Vetrte said above, BUT everyone says you can't just take a DUAL NOZZLE Jet chart and double it for a Dual Nozzle Set Up??

I was told you don't just take the regular single nozzle Reccomended JET (from the NX Chart) and double it on each side.

One calculation Chart from Robert56 on the STICKY POSTS in this section said there is a calculation for a single nozzle to dual nozzle conversion of like .071 X ???? I didn't 100% get it which is why I am asking.

So I m back to my original OWN answer of #35 Nitrous and #18 Fuel

and someone else said it is supposed to be #35 Nitrous and #22 Fuel????

AGAIN does anyone KNOW fo SURE?????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????? Please...

LOL now I will confuse ya...
Here is the jetting I used on the dyno...

To the left is the single stage Wet plate...to the right is a dual nozzle Dry shot...

I believe you are right in doubling up a 50 wet (so say each nozzle jetted for a 50 shot...in my case on the plate 35/22 would be the jetting then do the same on the other nozzle). You can use one of the jets either fuel or nitrous to tune...so one have a couple of jets either side of the base number, you can change to make leaner or richer...

On the dual nozzle side (example my dry dual nozzle...) you can see that you just do not double the jetting or half it to go with two nozzles.
Example...
50 dry dual nozzle is .026x2
50 single nozzle is .035

The .71 from roberts site is saying .035 (single jet) x .71 = .02x and is the ball park estimate for two jets vice one.

Damn I think you even confused me lol

Anyway, I have a dual nozzle setup with 100 jets in each nozzle for 200 total

Each nozzle has 52/26. For my 300 ill be doing 62/31 in each.

So it looks like #35 and #22 for a 50 hot in each side, so if I use those in each nozzle I shoul dbe OK as a starting point.

Here again is the NX Chart right from their website: (I wonder why I use the #22 Fuel vs. the #18?) I guess it is what beer said, HIS was #35/#22 for a 50 WET on the dyno!

NX Ls1 jetting list from NX website RWHP RATED....GM Stg.1 EFI system, part number 20920

Single jet
50HP 35N 18F
75HP 41N 22F
100HP 52N 28F
150HP 62N 33F

22 is REALLY rich as you can see on his chart. Start at 22 and work down from there. You might end up at 18-19 when you're done depending on your fuel press.

Those pulls on my chart was when I was stock...I would revert to manufactures recommendations (the chart for the wet is for Daves plate and not a nozzle), and have some jets just over and over the recommended fuel jet size. It was interesting to see what a fresh bottle did as well. The middle jets on my chart are spares (the chart is actually a layout for my Jet holder). The 13.1 AFR was me running outta injectors with the factory 26's.

IThanks guys. beer you gave me those stickers for my NX Panel like 3 years ago, remeber????

Anyway THANKS AGAIN!

I have stock injectors too. I guess the dyno will tell the story. I was getting an oil leak fixed, think they said it was a main seal or something like that so this was my chance to get my NX working. The NX nitrous electronic pressure gauge stopped working after I had it for a month (but it was past 90 days so my problem) and so the shop I am getting her fixed at said it was broke and ordered a new one for $245 (just for the gauge) ouch. I was surprised it was actually broken and thought it was just an electrical issue, but at this point just want her fixed.

The TNT Power ring wasn't my ideal choice, BUT at the time it wa a good device and if I can get it to stay in one place it is probably fine. I wished I got a single nozzle. I THOUGHT the dual would look cool and be safer since it was spraying twice, redendancy, but it is kid of messy looking under the hood.

I wish there was a way I could convert to a PLATE. I am sure there is but not sure how that works when you have a dual set up???

Anyway I will just use the recomended jets and tune it from there

I just got jets in the mail. I am going back down from a 150 to a 100 shot. I have a Dual Nozzle and was using #35 Nitrous and #18 for Fuel, but they guy told me to go to a #20 and I would be perfect as #18 was a little lean.

I have the #35 N2O and the #20 FUEL and will see hwo it goes. He already dynoed it and said that #20 would be fine since #22 was to much and #18 wasn't enough when we tried it out. I will dyno again, btu he said no need to as it will be fine. It is a wet kit btw...
