Switch to a 4150. I tried this 2 years ago and it didn't work.

He is saying switch to a carb style nitrous plate, thats what i would do, what u are trying to do is not a good idea.. sell thr ring and nozzles and get a 4150 carb plate..

It's just too many turns to ask the fuel to maintain suspension, and still provide equal distribution. I popped a head gasket on #3 and 5, and had my only 2 backfires ever on this setup

96Z-What set up you have now that you still back fire? Do n.o.s plates cause problems?

Now I have a Pro Flow 4150 plate, and a Harris Speedworks direct port. No more backfire/headgasket issues.

Mike. We have customers spraying before the elbow just fine.. Its not my favorite way of doing it but if the tune up is fine you should be fine up to a certain power level.
Reading the plugs as you move up in the power range will tell you if there is a distribution issue before it is an issue.

We use the NX gemini plate on some applications as well. But in applications like yours where cutting the cowl up is something we would rather avoid we build the plate into the intake manifold. We custom plumb spray bars into the intake. They are flow matched to the runners and work very well. Here is a link to an example..

We can also custom water cut custom solenoid mounts and hardline from the solenoids to the spray bar for a very sexy looking install.

Mike, You can just send us your intake and we can plumb it. Or if you would rather we can get a new one and do it. Your call.
