I had to get lucky sometime. The last Craigslist buy was a bust, an LT1 for $600 that was supposed to have been rebuilt. Yeah it was rebuilt alright, but the person who rebuilt it must have been high or drunk. Metal all over the top half of the motor, enough carbon on the pistons to choke a chain smoker! The day I started tearing into that motor was disappointing indeed.

Yeah I hear you on the books also! Thankfully I have the GI Bill. Its no wonder there are so many idiots out in the world, even just going to a community college, there is no way I could afford it on my own. Ridiculous.
