okay whats a good all around plug foor my set up
I have a 408 with 12:31cr with a 300 direct port and a 150 plate. It is 95% street car and I will probably just use one stage or the other.
I have an hsw interface to do my timing duties so I will b on NA timing while driving . So which plug will be an all around good driver and nitrous plug

with a 150hp difference between the stages, i would choose to use only one or the other (either the 150 or 300, switching from the 150 to 300 on the same plugs sounds like a terrible idea)
This is all i'm going to say as i have little nitrous knowledge when your dealing with that much!! IMHO call any of the sponsors here or call Steve Johnson from IS, he'll tell ya everything you want to know and it'll be right

That's still not cold enough of a plug. The 7 will be okay for the 150 shot but not the 300. Let ATVracer, Shiz, or Nitro Dave chime in here and give you advice that most likely we can't give you on that much nitrous.

I dont see this ending good.
If you have 450 on the car and are asking what plugs to run you should take the 300 off and work with the 150 shot until you learn.
No disrespect intended.
We run NGK 11's for 300+ for what its worth.

I agree.
Learn on the 150 shot, its almost hard to hurt a built motor with a 150 shot.
So play with that for a while learn to read plugs from that, make a change and look at what it does to the plugs.
Then step up gradually .... 250 get that right..... 350 get that right .... 450 more than likely you will learn something the hard way before you make it to 450. If you go right to 450 you wont learn anything because it will probably only make 1 or 2 passes before you hurt it.
What was your question again?

i want to be able to spray one stage or the other or both if i need to,
if i leave the plate at 150 and put the direct port on a 200 can i effectivly use the same plugs . i dont want to change plugs every time if i need to spray both stages and i dont want to get to cold because it is a street car

There is no plug that is good for driving around, good for 150, good for 300 and good for 450.
What are you trying to do?

There is no "good all around plug" for your setup... Besides, you can't possibly begin to use a "450 shot" on the street... Take the good advice above and use the 150 plate for playing games in your "street car" with some 7's in it. Then when you go to the track, change the plugs and run both stages...
or use one plug and go melt some parts... your call.
