Smile Nitrous Refills here at Speed Inc!!!!!!

As many of you know, a lot of the shops in the area that provided nitrous refills have either closed or moved to a different location. After many inquiries we have decided to offer nitrous refills here at Speed Inc!!! The price for nitrous refills will be $5.50 per pound. We will be refilling nitrous Monday-Saturday during normal business hours. Our filling station should be up and running the first week of August!! Drop off anytime during business hours, or call ahead if you need to wait for your refill. Your bottle will be weighed in/out, so you will only pay for the actual amount used. No rounding up here. Feel free to contact Sales@Speedinc.com or give us a call 847 891 0767 with any questions you have!!

Out here it is $11 a pound. Don't really need to use it that much though.

Wow....I heard the prices were raised around here a small amount, but it's usually $4.00 and it raised to $4.50.

A lot better than $11!

$40 for a 10lb and $60 for a 15lb

6.75 in md, i refuse to pay for it honestly. i have the kit on the car and have only filled the bottle twice and that was for dyno time. I wont fill it until someone doesnt try and rape you when you walk in the door. Good to see someone else is filling bottles though a lot of people are getting out of it.

Prices range around here from 3.50 if you happen to know someone with a fill station to 6-7at speed shops . Speedinc is the closest to me and right in the middle price wise. I will be filling there.

Tony,
Awesome.. Expect to see an increase in sales for last minute things like bottle pressure gauges, bottle nuts, nipples, blow off valves, blow down tubes, etc. All the easy add ons people always need. If you have them on the shelf for convience they will go quickly.

I don't know if this is the same Chicago, IL-area we are talking about but the average price around here is 3.50-4.50.

I understand that prices vary from area to area. Places where Nitrous is more expensive stems from the fact that there isn't too much competition in sales so, they could charge what they want. You don't have to look very far to find a Nitrous refill station in the Chicago-area though.

Winner's Circle in Joliet: $4
Straightline in New Lenox: $4
AES Racing in Elk Grove : $4

Lots of various speed shops throughout Chicago is around 3.50 and 4.50 from what I've seen. So $5.50 per pound? No thanks.

It seems you are a Speed Inc. regular customer and while that is fine with me, don't push misleading information to Chicago-area Nitrous users in the attempt to boost their revenue. What do I mean? Who sells Nitrous for 6-7 bucks around here? Posting these unheard of prices makes 5.50 per pound sound reasonable and that's wrong in my book.

AES is the only place even close to me besides Speedinc. The others would cost me more in gas just to drive there for a fill and waste half a day. AES said 6bucks on the phone and GLD is/was expensive as **** although Im not sure if they even fill bottles anymore. There also was another shop in Schaumburg that was in the 6 range but they dont sell anymore. Used to fill at fast times and they were pricey 10yrs ago. Im not driving hours just to fill a bottle and save 10 bucks. So yeah In my area its expensive. Speedinc has been very very good to me and I support them fully. If their prices are out of wack Im sure they will get adjusted but on the north side there are barely any places to fill right now. Do you think they are trying to get rich filling bottles?? **** no they did it to help out local racers looking for a fill.
You dont have to fill there, but I will and Im sure they will hook it up for good customers.

02TransAm/Batmobile we are aware you hate the price and won't be filling with us anyway.

$4, $5 whatever we are not going to make **** in the end and mainly doing this to help people in the area have a place to go

to others that will actually be visiting us we are working on revising prices and hope to have things figured out with our supplier by the end of the week

We are hoping to be in the $4.50 area

Dave we will have to get an order for bottle odds & ends
