Default Pulling timing for N2O?

I upgraded my old LS1 Edit to EFI Live so it's a bit easier to tune now. What is the preferred method for pulling timing? Put a resistor into the IAT to force a high temp and adjust those cells to pull ~2 per 50hp added in the Spark IAT table?

Check out interface controller from harrisspeedworks.com. Thats what I use and it only pulls the timing when the kit is activated, so you can run full n/a timing off the bottle. Its really bad *** for the money.

I need to pull more than 3 degrees.

LS1 3 Degrees

* The Interface uses the IAT Spark Advance Correction Table in the PCM for retarding timing. The Interface is limited to the values entered into this table, so if you would like to pull more timing then what is available for your application you can do so by modifying the IAT Spark Advance Correction Table.
Plus if I have tuning software, why not do it properly plus why buy something that I don't need.

you can change that with your tuning software. my tuner made mine pull 7 degrees. You just have to mess with the IAT table I think. its in the instructions with the interface

I can do that with a resistor, why buy that interface:

I use EFI Live also and just pull it from the cells. Copy those tables on High low octane as well as in park/neutral if it has a manually controlled auto (mvb). Sometimes a auto swap will cause the car to loose signal and revert to tables you don't want to spray on, just a safety.

Dude,
You have everything you need with the EFI live. Use the custom operating system to pull the timing when the system activates. You dont need anything. you already have it. Just run a wire from the system relay to the pcm and it can swap bewteen the two tunes when the system activates.

I thought the custom OS portion was extra? Any more info on this? That would be awesome!

Yeah, I finally moved out of the stone ages. LS1 Edit does work, but having to pay them for every update just got old so I bought a different suite.

so what size shot you gonna run? I have 100 right now..might step up to a 125 not sure yet though cuz of the 4400 stall but sam is sprayin a 150 on his pt4400..
Bent a rim and as soon as I get my wheel back on gonna play with it and see if I wanna step it up or not but for now 540rwhp feels pretty good :-)

Did not realize you had to pay each time with ls1 edit..So yeah I dont blame ya..I think you'll be much happier now..

I've used all of them, including tunercats. EFI Live has always been my preferred but HP Tuners seemed easier to get in the used/cheap market. I just got lucky on this one and it worked out for me.

Where do you run it off of the relay and what wire in the PCM would you tap into? Will it work with a wet shot as well?
