New PB 1/8 mile Video Inside
Its a stock shortblock LS2, right down to the rod bolts.
TFS cnc'd 225's
Smallish custom grind cam
Victor Jr EFI
FAST 4150 TB
TSP 1 7/8 headers
Yank L/U th400
Yank converter
9" w/4:10 gears
275 Drag Radial
Old best:
6.14 at 112.3 with a 1.37 60'
had 125jets in the plate and 3425#
New best:
5.92 at 114.5 with a 1.29 60'
changed to 175jets and 3490#
The pressure dropped pretty bad by the top of the track, from 1000psi at the line to 850psi at the end of the run. So with 2 bottles and a little better heat in them, I think she has another .10 or so in her.

I cant believe it drops that much on a 175 shot.
We are using twice the nitrous and getting 1/2 the drop.
Start with the bottle at 950 and it will have less pressure drop thru the run.
Also be sure not to over fill the bottle, that will make it drop pressure really fast.

It had a slight over fill, 11lbs, but it was the second run on that bottle. The bottle was pretty cold before the run and the pressure came up pretty quick with the heater on. I had a feeling it would fall pretty quick.

Yes sir! Well as long as these GM pistons stay in 1 piece.
I'll be there for sure. Just to bad I have to drive this year.

It runs 10.90's at 125-126 n/a. Its never cut better than a 1.85 60' off of the gas. The converter is way tight on motor, but man, that extra 50 in the jets really opened it up.
I plan on making some passes at Jackson after the shootout. Don't wanna let the smoke outa the motor before the big race.

I'll be running the same deal, 200 and a full 1/4, at the shootout. 2 bottles and a nice slow heat should hold the pressure up. I hope.
I'm going to install my rod bolts and it looks like some valve springs before then also. Put it on the dyno and the graph fell off at about 6600. Looks like valvetrain issues. I mean I do have 15k+ miles spinning it to 7200 on the set of springs that came in my trick flows.
She picked up .08 in the 60, .30 in the 330, but only .20 in the 1/8th. The springs should fix it and with the bolts i'll spin her on out to 7500.

yea, i found 950 to 1000 is where i usually run them, i was rushed do to sunand track so i heated the bottle fast and didnt warm the stuff inside. so i think thats why. it was not good. if i get her out again i will be better prepaird.
