what if i run c16,instead of retarding the timing..i have bolt ons,a 3800 stall and 100 wet shot....I dont plan to spray anywhere but the track,...and i go maybe 2-3 times a year ,so i dont what to mess with the pcm...but i want to be safe..is this doable?thanx

get yourself a harris speedworks interface or the lingenfelter box to pull timing just when you spray. that way you can run the best timing for your application n/a.

Is it a bone stock tune? Are you okay with eating O2 sensors?

If you've got the right plug in the car and run straight C-16 it "should" be ok (rather than possibly eating the O2's). I guess I just don't understand why you wouldn't just pull the timing (a set of new O2's is about the price of a used timing box).

On a stock tune there is no need to pull timing on pump gas. Make a pass to double check the plugs but you should be fine.

I would also not run c16 with o2's as stated. Much easier to run an ignition box.

Also just let frost know your spraying a 100 shot and you will be fine if you want to do it that way.
