Just a suggestion, you sure the plate is not on backwards?

Valid point. The plate is marked, so I know it's on right and that fuel is going into the fuel side and nitrous into the nitrous side. We double checked that last night as well.

If those are really the jets you have in the plate it's probably so RICH the car is missing and showing lean on a WB. That's why you aren't making power.

That's completely wrong. Plenty of people are going fast with plate kits.
im pulling off the rail but the jetting is correct unless nos put the wrong numbers on the jets..the car doesnt have a racetronix pump yet and im assuming it was going lean is the reason they put such a big fuel jet in there.

i know people are flying with plates but i was refering to this plate that i have not seen any of the fast guys running this plate..

Unless you wrote those numbers backwards and were jetting for a 200 hit, those jets are PIG RICH.

It's a pretty entry level setup. Some guys have had good luck with it though.

nope thats exactly how they are in there, but i was the same way when i saw them also, i was like wtf is this...lol...but the afr is 12.0 on the spray so its not pig rich but it seems that its spraying more fuel than nitrous thats for sure so thats why i dont even bother spraying it until i change this plate out and put in a fuel pump..

there is NO WAY it's really at 12.0 with that jetting unless something is restricting fuel flow like crazy. What pump do you have in the car?

BTW. 12.0 isn't too lean for nitrous.

stock pump..and they said the pressure was dropping so thats why they kept upping the nitrous jet, so who knows im about to change that plate anyways.

If that's an accurate description the problem isn't with the plate, it's with the "they" in the statement above.

I use the same NOS brand plate kit and mine makes power as advertised. Great kit. 100 shot = 127 rwhp gain. I have the racetronix fuel kit and my car has heads and cam, great AFR as well.

Something is wrong with the car/setup, because I ran one of these for a year and a half and ti never gave me any problems, 63 jet pushed my car form 10.5 to 9.7, upped it to a 65 jet and was able to get 9.5x otu of it.

My plate came thru with 63/44 for the 150 hit, 44 was way rich, I ended up with a 65/42 and that was still a little rich IMO.

Racetronix pump with a hotwire and I was running it off a stock rail... never had a problem running out of fuel, pressure was over 60 spi the entire run down the track...

You have something wrong, and I highly doubt it's the plate. Maybe a noid, wiring, tune as ATV suggested, something's up.

That is very possible.. and would make perfect sense. Probably still plenty for yoru n/a use, but you put a load on that pump and make it try to work to it's potential and it's not up to the task.

Not bad for a banger. Idk if I'll have this issue sorted out this season. Only about 2 weekends left.
