Tuning NOS LS1 Plate - Way lean!!
Just got home from the shop tuning my car. Made 300rwhp and 297ft/lbs on the first pull on motor, lol. Fixed the tuning issues which bumped it up to 323rwhp and 340ft/lbs. Dropped out 6 degrees of timing, warmed up the bottle, had .063N and .035F in the plate and put down 423rwhp with 397ft/lbs. A/F was around 14.7!!!!!! WTF?!? Every online calculator calls for this jetting for a 150 hit. Where am I going wrong here? Pulled the plugs, saw no signs of detonation, saw no KR on the log as well. Anyone using this plate and having the same issue? Any input appreciated!

I know what you mean. I couldn't pass it up for the price though, and they participate in contingency payouts. I prefer to support companies that support racers.

If those are really the jets you have in the plate it's probably so RICH the car is missing and showing lean on a WB. That's why you aren't making power.
That's completely wrong. Plenty of people are going fast with plate kits.

We didn't have any other jets with us, so neither of us were comfortable spraying it again until we had some options. The tune is dead on for motor, so it's got to be the plate/kit, which is brand new out of the packaging. It is still SI. I've made no mechanical changes.

Get 37 thru 42 and get it right. Plate kits are awesome but dyno numbers can lie to u. The real power it makes is mph at the track. Stay on top of your plugs. If u have an exhaust leak close or in front of the wideband it will give u a false reading as well

We know there isn't a leak, since the AFR was good on motor. I've also been hearing that it may be a fueling issue. I have a 255lph pump which should be good for 500rwhp.

A/F on motor was 12.6-12.7 rock solid
Backed out 6 degrees of timing, however the plug looked like we could add at least a degree back
Yes, I test fired the noids in my garage on sunday night. Got both fuel, and nitrous.

And I feel dumb. Lol. I'm on like 3 hours of sleep and slammed at work. The factory dummy gauge looks good, and I don't have any flickering lights or anything. I'll log voltage, and I'll email the tuner to see if he logged voltage last night.
