Default new pb, video inside

finally got the car out to MIR to make a 1/4 pass.
patriot stage 2 ls6 heads
233/239 .614/.607 111
100 shot
3600lb race weight
1.397- 60'
in the 2nd run it was running out of bottle.
i put the 57 jet in it which is supposed to be a 125 but i also put in the 31f jet and it ran 11.2 on my wb. i guess i should just step back down to the 28f jet?

Looks good - nice run! Did you read any plugs? Can't depend on the wideband alone, but it sounds like it is pretty rich if the 11.2 is accurate...

Also, might wanna try tightening up the front shocks a bit and get that bounce out - it will bring the 60' down some as long as it hooks - you'll have to see what the track will hold...

Time to learn then! There are plenty of posts in this section about plug reading and people on here that can help you. You can't tell what is going on with timing or fueling (by cylinder) unless you read the plugs... logging and wideband readings in conjunction are great (the more data the better), but there is no substitute for plug reading...

The easiest way to do it if you don't have a tow back is to put a couple new plugs and socket/ratchet in your car. When you get through the traps, kill the car from WOT (keep the key turned enough to steer though!). Coast onto the return road and out of the way and swap in a couple new plugs...

If you get a plug reading scope, you don't have to cut them to read them - there are pics in this section showing where the fuel ring is - down inside at the bottom of the porcelain. And the timing mark is easy to see on the strap...

If you are gonna play with nitrous, and want to safely get the most out of it, you really do need to learn now so that when you step it up (and you will step it up), you already have that aspect of tuning under control...
