I run 116 in my N.O. standalone fuel cell and I haven't had a problem. I checked my plugs to verify correct fueling.

Depending on how much timing your running your 112 and 116 is simply wasting your money....I've tuned a number of cars that have a comparable shot to yours and running straight pump with no problems....

Everyone here at the shop runs C16 in their dedicateds and we have a ton of customers using C16 in their dedicateds also. There are also several customer's that run between 100 - 110octane in their dedicatd's with great results.

I always just run pump gas on a 150 shot. C116 is way over kill on a stock motor.

Pump gas (93 octane) for the 150 shot, #7 plugs. Only recently stepped up to 112 VP Blue when i started hitting it with 200 or greater (#8 plugs).

175 on pump here on stock short block. I think that is the limit though. Needs better fuel with any more than that.

We had a 350 shot on Shiz's motor when he won the Pump Gas Drags.

Pump gas burns alot faster than C16 and other race fuels so timing needs to be alot lower and using colder plugs helps also.
