this got a little off topic but you have to remember unless you two are in the same area racing at the same track the times will differ. Altitude and air quality effect your ET and MPH a lot. Also i was running a 150 on SBE for a while and it held fine as long as (just like everyone else said) all other supporting changes have been made plugs tune etc....

Plus the convertor acts a lot different with the 4.10's and 9" than the 10 bolt and 3.73s so I have to keep trying different launch RPMs to see what it likes.

Thats is until I can get a REAL convertor around 4000k or so.
Worlds fastest GTO N/A had a 3200 stahl in it. U should have stahl checked to c if its still ok. It might be letting go. and u should get lock up with billet cover if ur gonna spray it.

Last week we jetted 175hp on a full stock LS1 motor 1998 z28 Camaro with stock fuel pump, injectors, stall ect just an SLP Lid & K& N Filter..went from a 8.9 in the 1/8 to a 7.6 - car still runing strong & daily driven. Looking to upgrade the fuel pump & jet for 200hp, we are also runing on 104 SONOCO & tuning with EFI LIVE.

How much timing did you pull out?

175hp seemed to really wake the car up! I'm running 7.5-7.6 now depending on the DA, so I'm thinking a 150 should get me into the 6's.

I agree 100%. I have a Kestrel weather station and started checking the DA at different tracks each time I went and my car with vary from a 7.5 to a 7.7 depending on the DA and how well the track is working.

Best time of 7.5 was a DA of 900 and the track would take you shoes off.

we were runing 30degree timing, 26" M/t Drag Radials, Stock Motor, Stock Tranny, Stock 10bolt. We are working on a Air Ram system & few other things for it, we should get it down to a 7.4 easilly with the current 175shot nitrous setup.

My other 98 Z28 Camaro Stock Bottom End Motor runs 6.803 with 175shot as well, LS6 Intake - 85mm TB - Denso 300LPH Intank Fuel Pump, (Stock Heads, Headers, Injectors, 10 Bolt Rear end & 4L60E Tranny) with TransGo Shift & 3200 Stall converter, I've done alot of Lightening up, I'm down close to 3000lbs "with out driver" - looking to shoot 250 next weekend & see where that puts me, I got a few things i want to install this weekend - (Tubular K-Member, Upper/Lower Control Arms, Manual Rack & Pinion, Manual Brakes & eliminate the ABS, also installing a Race Craft LS1 One Piece Motor Plate.
