Thanks man, I did loose another 50lbs or so and added the drag bar.

Italiankid77 Congrats man cant wait to see the video.
Thanks man, video updated in post 24.

atrain59 Congrats on the times im jealous, Im shooting for the 9's cam only with nitrous. Its my DD its hard finding time to work on the car when i work full time and go to school full time lol. Ill get there one day.
Thanks man, you will get it! Just be humble and listen to the guys that has done it. As far as DD the car it will be allot more difficult, pick you up a small truck like a s-10 or a ranger for cheap, you won't regret it.

Frozen ws6 Congrats. That's cool you drive to the track also. I run dr's and skinnies all the time so I'm not changing tires. But another legit 9 second street car is awsome.
Thanks man, it has always been my goal to drive it to and from the track. I think I developed this complex back in the day when I ran my gen1 400 and couldn't hardly drive it anywhere.

chevymec Nice times!! Congrats.
navyblueSS Nice, congrats!
JJ_TURBO You did it, must feal great that all the hard work paid off, congrats.
Thanks guys, it did feel really good. My brother was calling my cell as soon as I went through the traps telling me my time. I couldn't get my helmet off fast enough to hear him. I was yelling so loud I think the officials could hear me from opposite ends of the track! lol....

BadManLS1 Congrats Andy! Had fun watching ya!
Thanks Ragan, let me know when you guys are going back. I wouldn't mind going to Douglas either....

Nice work, you have done all the right things with the car so far and it's paid off.

Now, cage it, and once that's done lemme know, and I'll plan a trip down to drop off your new motor... have Greg loosen that converter up a little bit, and I think you can see the same time with a 150 shot, but change that 9. to an 8.

Up here my summers are so short I couldn't justify having a trailer queen racecar and have fun. That's why I got the blackbird. It was setup pretty much how I would have done it and has everything I needed to have. Because it is fun running around town with it.

But I do plan on getting a trailer soon so I can throw the big jets at it and not worry about how I'm making the hour drive back home. Like when I blew the hood off, I borrowed some ratchet straps to hold it down.

I understand what you mean, I bet people hate to see that BlackBird coming down the street. There like, oh well I loose Try to get it in some shots when Sarah Palin in filming her show, that would be sweet!

Like I told you earlier, the car has come a LONG way. Glad to see it running the number!

Build a motor and we can fight it out at the LS race in Atlanta if Comp ever decides to make my lifters.

Alot of people don't realize how much faster you can go with a setup suspension on these cars. Glad to see your isn't twisting as bad now in that video. Even mines close. But I think I'm still one click off.

Lol. The funny thing is there are still people dumb enough to want to get there *** handed to them. I mean you can hear this thing is far from stock, and when you see that big of a tire, they should have a clue that it's a serious setup. So I laugh at them and tell them to bring it out to the track. Since I gave up street racing along time ago back in the late 90's when our local police escorted me out of town.

Haha. She has her hands full trying to educate Bristol on how what she says can affect her since she's in the political spotlight of the media. If Todd wasn't so jealous these days I'd let them use both of my cars in the show.
