Default How much can I pull off the rail?

I see alot of guys running a stand alone cell for nitrous, is the main reason for this because the stock lines pump & rails cant keep up with both the motor & the n20 system?
If they could is there still an advantage to running stand alone over pulling off the rail?

My car has a Areomotive A1000 with 10an line then it Ys to 8an into each rail (fast rails not stock) then 6an out of the rails to the reg & 6an back to the tank. I pull off a tee before the regulator with 6an line to the fuel noid.

This is overkill for my 450rwhp so I should be fine pulling enough fuel off the rail for a 200-250 shot right, Or should I still be looking into adding a stand alone?

I use a stand alone for running race gas so I can add my timing back and add horse power and also to reduce the threat of detonation.

Hitting my car with 250, probably around 625-650 rwhp off the stock rails. I use a Racetronix 255 with Hotwire kit.

DAM man good job.

To be safe with stock injectors and walbro 255 I would stick with 175 or below. Unless you plan on putting a new motor in.

Just get a walbro or a inline to make damn sure you have 55+ fuel psi and a fuel psi shut off safety switch installed dont want to lean out on juice!!

With your setup you should be ok pulling off the rail. I've pulled 250hp off the rail before with no problems but it's not something I suggest in most cases.

I did the same for over a year. Only fuel system upgrade I had was a 255lph pump. Looking back, I should have upgraded the tranny first though.

As Dave stated above, with your fuel system, you have plenty of room for growth!

If you are interested in a standalone the gains are tremendous!

You can increase timing depending on the fuel you are using! = more power!
It will decrease the chance of a lean spike due to pressure drop in the rails.
It simply looks cool!
And we have custom jetting to work with each fuel combination!!
