Default should i go with gauge on bottle or auto meter gauge in pod

Just wondering is one more accurate then the other i know having it in a gauge pod is easier to see.....Also how do u hook the auto meter up do u just run a tee off it and have the feed line going in and then back out to the solenoid?

running a gauge on the bottle will be the easiest and most accurate but if you have the bottle hidden then you will have to run a pod gauge. the bad thing about running a gauge in a pod that you will end up wasting a lot of nitrous every time you open/close the bottle because it has to fill up that line every time, so if you are going to go that route go with an electronic gauge

Can u just run a tee in the line and have the tee connected the actual gauge...Am i making sense lol that way the main feed line keeps going to the solenoid just has a tee in it a guage and i will have a shorter line coming from tee to solenoid cuz i dont wanna run two main lines as mentioned and i already got auto meter gauge but not the bottle gauge trying to make what i got work lol

Rather have the gauge in the pod so you can always see it

Typically you'd want to run an electric gauge. Running nitrous lines in your car like that can be unsafe.

run both. If one gauge fails you would see the difference.

I just did this in my car. I will try and get you a pic today. I couldn't see the bottle gauge from the driver seat so I decided to go with an autometer gauge in the a pillar. I used a fitting from nitro daves that has two NPT ports in it. That way I could run my bottle heater safety switch and the sending unit for the gauge on the same fitting. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

I have my gauges at the bottle to look at went it not open for in the summer. then i have my nitrous senders at the solenoid to read the bottle pressure. I like knowing my pressure at the solenoid before it goes in the engine, My bottles are in the back so i get a little pressure drop over 16'

My preference was to have both. NX mechanical bottle gauge, and Autometer Cobalt electric pod gauge here.
