Default 150 shot???

Can my stock fuel system support fuel for a 150 shot wet? its 2001 c5 got the 125 now was just curious if fuel system in stock form hold a 150 that would kick me into low 11s for sure i hope lol....

I'd guess 150 would be the limit if you have a strong pump. Have a fuel pressure gauge ?

As long as the motor is stock/bolt ons you're good. If you have a cam then you're going to need to upgrade.

ok thanks no pressure gauge yet... motor is all stock with blackwing cold air an 160 stat only mods other than muffler delete its an a4 car also... car has 59k miles on it

I would check the fuel pressure. I would also get a good wideband and put it on the car. One that has the sensor that goes in your exhuast. That way you can watch the AF. If your fuel pump and pressure are good then you should be fine.

i installed an LPE high flow pump in my 02 C5 with just running a 100hp wet shot but also had heads/cam/bigger injectors etc

If your stock pump is still running up to par you should be OK with a 150 shot with your mods. That being said, if you have any aspirations of heads, cam, intake, etc. in the future + N2O, I'd go ahead and put the money into upgrading the fuel pump to take those concerns out of the equation. Just my $.02.

thanks midnight02, i hit the 150 last night on street felt really good/ also pinned me into seat lol ..... on wideband a/f was at 12.0 in upper rpms....and man does it hit hard what kind of et gain an mph might be seen at the track if it hooks up fair? an also read a few plugs they looked great....

friend with a completely bone stock ls1 t/a went 11.06 on a 150 shot. it maybe geared though, can't remember.

what plugs you running with that 150 shot? im just curious cause i have the tr6 in my car with a 100 shot but i want to run a 150 shot now. do i needa go 1 step colder?

with my 92xxx mile camaro with full bolt ons it ran outta pump on a 150. so i now have a racetronix. it was fine on the motor but on the bottle it would drop pressure like crazy
