Default First 1/4 pass on new fogger system, Video inside

Went to the track Friday night and made the first 1/4 mile pass of the year in my car with the new Nitrous outlet fogger on it. Track was not prepped that great and the 60' was way off as was the 660 from what it normally does. Here is a video of it from the GoPro cam though. Went a 9.35@146.98

Very nice pass! Maybe just the angle of the camera but it looked like your window was down?

It was down. I had trouble the previous pass, an 1/8 mile shakedown, with the reflection off of it and I couldn't see what the tach was at or exactly what was gong on with my hands so I decided to leave it down for the 1/4 mile pass. We do not do alot of 1/4 mile passes but plan on being at silver dollar the end of the month so I hope to get it down into the 8s then

Very clean pass. With that MPH it is definitely making the power. How do you like the Go Pro?

Graham, I love the Go Pro. I used to use the handheld cam corder every pass, I am alot happier with the videos from the Go Pro!!

That pass was with a 26/22 jetting, with 5.5# of fuel pressure, it is still fairly rich and I had 15* pulled on that pass ramping 5* back in over 1.5 seconds too. I know there is still power on the table but we were having some traction issues that night. Going to add some get some timing back in it and lean it out a little. Plugs look like it needs about 8* pulled total. Fuel looks fairly rich still so might go up on the nitrous side to a 28 and dial it in there. Im loving the fogger I got from you guys!!

What is the race weight of your car? I am building a motor close to yours and plan on hitting it with a good shot of nitrous.

Can't wait to send my intake to Nitrous Outlet for them to plumb it.

Last year when I weight it it was at 3145 without me in it. I weigh 145#. Since then I have removed the 2 leather seats and installed kirkeys. I have yet to make a clean pass in the car this year. It went 5.9s last year in the 1/8 with a smaller cam and a 185 in a plate. Now it has a bigger nitrous cam and 200 in a fogger. MPH has been up even when I have to get out of the system to get it to hook. 60's have been off all year due to spinning and having to pedal but it continues to run 6.0s when the 60' is high 1.3s and low 1.4s. MPH is up in the 1/8 by 2-3 on those passes too.

My car is a hard top LT1 car with a LS front end. Still has power windows, locks, mirrors, stock fuel tank, ect. I rewired the entire car though so alot of the modules and excess wiring is gone now. I also put a bolt in core support in the car and removed the impact bars front and rear. The front has a bar I made to protect the front and and tie the frame rails together. Ill make a build thread on the car and put a link to it in my sig.

Cars sound's like it headed for some 8's

Glad your happy with the setup. Let me know if you need a hand with the tuneup. Sounds like your getting it together tho.

Must be nice to have a car that light.
