Default Experts Please read my Spark plugs. (HD pic) REtook pictures with new Plugs...Please

Scroll to the bottom for new pictures...thx

I had these plugs for about a year plus 5 months with a 50 shot N35 F20 with a steady 12.8/13.1 AFR Via AEM W/B total of 1 1/2 old plug.. I was told at the tune shop that my timing is set at 27* i pull back 3* via HSW Interface. Driver side bank has a black ring but not too mush on the passenger side??? hence#5 plug..please need advice..thx!
PS..I did not clean them..fresh off the oven..

These pictures wont tell you anything.

They need to be BRAND NEW plugs with as little drive time as possible. Make a WOT pass and shut the car down and put it in neutral. Pull plugs replace with an older set. Those plugs are what we need to "Read".

If you are unclear or unsure about anything give me a quick shout.

I thought that would be a issue.. Just was looking for any type of help..

What are those rings around the white part of the plug mean. Like the #5 plug one?

It means that your spark plug boot rubbed off on the plug.

The important part of the porcelain is INSIDE the threads, you'll have to either get an otoscope (sp) or cut the threads off to see the fuel ring that lives there.

You can't read the plugs you posted... Too much run time.

Also, dump the projected tip plugs

They look good, maybe just a tad on the lean side
But I don't know if an 1/8th mile is a long enough burn.
Did you log that run?

I run #7s ngk non proj. I woull make 2 passes on a set 2nd pass kill yhe mtt otot passe the 1000ft coast over pull the plugs. Look at the timing mark on the strap where is the line at? AF needs to be when you log it 11.5 to 11.8

what octane are you running

AEM w/b avg 12.7-13.2 Runing 93 octane The plugs has 3 1/8 mile passes on em.. Spraying a 50shot N35 F20.. I'm concern with the #1 plug it has a black speck on the strap.. What is that?

Its gonna be hard to see any real heat on the strap, it is only a 50 shot. Try putting one size larger fuel jet in it and see if it picks up at the track.

your not going to get much reading out of a 50 shot over all motor runs.

50 shot is pretty much nothing on these motors.

but your afr seems a little on the lean side to me for spraying. Those AFR's would be good N/A....but on the bottle you want high 11's/low 12's.

50 shot??? Pull your panties off and jet up. I wouldn't bother reading plugs until you pass the 150 mark.

although I agree reading plugs on a 50 shot is pretty much a waste of time, to START reading them on a 150 shot is just dumb. 100 shot +
