In the 200-250 Range. What is the goal here? Certain ET? What have you sprayed before on this combo?

By the way if you wanting to spray a plate at the edge of octane you might want to get a few more plugs.

People have done up to 250hp with 93octane gas but i personally wouldn't go that high on just straight pump gas. Now if you can mix 5 or 6 gallons of race gas in teh tank then i'd say definitely go up to 250hp but if not i'd stick around the 200hp mark and have fun with the car.

ok i donīt have 250 jets for now only up to 200 so my question is answered... Thanks guys

But tell me iīve been searching here alot and people are talking about itīs all about tuning how big of a shot you can go, so tuning is not the issue here but are they meaning the timing only or is it fueling also that needs to be adjusted to on bigger shots ??
should the AFR be in the same range as NA??

I have standalone cell, but offcourse i would run race gas in that.....
but the reason for this thread is there are trackdays here that i would like to compete in that hava a limit, itīs (pump gas and DOT tires).
so i would not be able to run race gas there only 93 oct.....

thanks

Both. Tuning is not just one thing. It's plugs, tune, Etc.

should the AFR be in the same range as NA??

No. It should start in the Mid 11's. From there you tune off of the plugs.

Nitrous tuning is more simple than some make it out to be. But pushing the edge of anything is not easy, especially octane. Since you had to ask such basic questions here (Which is very smart to do.) stay conservative and get help from us or a knowledgeable user. This will help keep parts alive while your still getting up on the learning curve.

ok i already tested .078 jet last summer both on 93 oct and on racegas, but now iīm plannig on jetting it up next season

if i run .085 jet on 93 oct pump gas what plug should i use?

there is one competition per year King og the Streets and the rules are DOT tires and pump gas , other then that i will always use racegas.

If you do a Google search for "Pump gas drag race" you will see that cars running mid 8 seconds and people that are spraying a lot of nitrous had to do it on 93 octane gas.

We had about 400 worth on Shiz's car when he won the Pump Gas Drags.

If there is no rule saying you have to use 93 then use race gas.
