Be careful putting dope in your car, I think it's illegal.

NOS? Umm, ok. Let's just call it nitrous today and see what happens.

Start low, and sneak up on it??
If you are certain that the n/a performance is low, fix that first, then move on to the "dope".......

I don't know, bring it to me and lets see how much we can put to it J/K

Seriously, there are guys here who are running 250 shots and larger thru stock bottom ends with only a cam. I would suggest for you to not do that. Those guys are experienced nitrous tuners and have their tune spot on.

I would suggest for you to put a 100 shot on and go from there. Make sure you have a device to pull timing or HPtuners and make sure you get a colder non-projected tip plug to put in there. NGK br6ef for the 100 should do fine for what you have.

Is it an auto or stick? Do you have a stock or aftermarket rear? If its an auto how big of a stall? If its an auto thats about right but a stick car might be a lil higher.

Remember, a dyno is a tuning tool. Dyno numbers mean nothing, the track will tell you how good the car is running.

That rear end is not going to handle what you make on motor.

But as far as the motor, it could handle 300hp if you can tune it correctly and have the right system on it.

This is a fairly general response since I am not exactly sure what answer your looking for.

And guys, anything is better than NOS.

I will accept:

Dope, Hose, Jet, Gas, Bottle, giggly, etc.

The big thing on keeping this thing alive is going to be proper system and tune up.

This means octane, spark plugs, timing, etc.

Why don't you post up a little about how the car gets used and what your goals are.

My car is not a daily driver and my future goals is to make into a 10 second car on motor... but knowing its a 346 i'll be happy with a dope car.. i have plans on buying a 12 bolt or 9" then make into a track only car....But for now it will be my street racer...LOL
I have NX kit NIB...all I need is a few things like fuel pressure ,Wideband, Nos Gauges to install...Anything else I need...

Default nos

like the sponsor said. should handle at least 300 for sure. think about
2 or even 3 systems.. no joke.. 100-150 shot on a pedal triggered system and the rest on a hand held devise.. not shotting it all at one time makes it easier on everthing.. motor, tranny, rearend. tuning is everyting!!!

Which NX kit?

I can make sure you have everything but we need to get lined out what you have and how we are going to go about tuning it and at what power levels.

Cant remember what part# it was cuz i took it out of package..but it has the BIG noids (ICEMAN PROFLO)on the fuel one... and has the Shark nozzle...If that helps...

Thanks again

Well that is a pretty decent system. It is going to limit you to around the 150hp mark tho. Not due to flow capability's, but through distribution.

Those are very good solenoids however. The only thing that need's to be done IMO to the older NX noids is replace the fuel piston with a newer style that is not so sensitive to ethanol. The pump gas will bloat the material they used and it will swell shut.

Easy fix and still a very nice part.

If you are wanting to be capable of the 200hp+ range I can work with you and most of the system you have. If you think you will be content with the 150hp, I can help with the last few odds and ends and the tuneup with what you have there.

I would think that 150-250 if tune up is correct. Sprayed 200 on my stock shortblock many times over 4 years. Ran good fuel/ tr8 plug 18 degrees of timming and checked plugs. I think people blow up stuff due to the tune up on spray.

Start at a 100 shot, get a non-projected tip plug, pull correct amount of timing, and just make sure your tune is good.
