Default Cam only F-BODY Nitrous Record

What is the current et? What are the rules for this? I have my big motor out of my car right now but happen to have a cam only LS1 sitting in the garage. I am putting it in my race car for my wife to race while I'm getting my big motor freshen up. It will be fun to her no matter what it runs but I figured since my car is setup for nitrous I might as well spray the cam only LS1. So what are the rules for this? What can I change and what can't I change? I seriously doubt it will be fast enough for any record since I'm throwing it together with all used parts I have laying around from past cars and setups but figured I might as well check "in case" it actually runs really good.

I dont really care but as I see it, stock ls1 heads, so 241 805 etc. and a cam and other boltons in an f body.

9.52 141 is the fastest I know of by us in the 1/4, weve been 5.95 in the 1/8 but havent ran it out the back door and went 116.6 the other weekend but didnt run it out the back door either due to the 8.5's.

goodluck

I agree with Cam, stock rod bolts and untouched stock heads also. If heads (via ported, decked etc..) are added then you move into another category. Whatever intake, injectors, TB etc.. is fine. That's the way I look at anyways...

It doesnt do any good to compare times when the vehicles are completely different. Thats why there are all the different classes in racing.

I dont even care about the cam only f body record I just asked more out of curiosity than anything. Im putting a used LS1 in my car with ALL used parts that I had laying around for my wife to drive. Whatever it runs on a 200-300 shot is what it will run. I wont be changing any parts to chase any record.

Make a thread of your own instead of comparing 2 cars with 2 totally different weights and crying when someone isn't wanting to hear it? I have a lot of respect for hybrid guys, but quit whining already.

That's what I'm attempting to do with my 99. 2800 lbs raceweight, custom grind and a lot of nitrous!
