how much spray is safe on stock tune
how much spray is safe on stock tune just wondering how much i can spray threw a hsw 78mm plate kit on the stock tune done been using the 100 shot just wondering if i can sneek a little bit more in before having to have it tuned? oh yea this is in a 2000 frc vette..

Did you advance your timming?
Some have run up to a 150 shot on a stock tune, [ with colder plugs ] and have been ok, but, thats something I wouldn't try.
Imo, and this is MY opinion, I would not up the shot w/o knowing where my timming is.
Seeing your car is an a4 running a hotcam, you must have some kind of a tune in it to keep it running in stop and go traffic.
If the timming has been advanced you run the risk of detonation with nitrous.

You say stock tune and if that is the case you should be ok with a 100 shot. Some colder plugs and wile it is slightly risky you should be safe.
If you have the HP tune on this same car you definatly need to check with who tuned your car.
I have a tune from BB and asked him if I could run a 100 shot on the current tune. He said yes with race fuel to be safe. Only your tuner can tell you if it would be safe.

Sorry for the confusion but the car in my sig is not the one im spraying,I have a 2000 c5 6 speed thats the one im asking about it has no tune just bolt ons i have been spraying it with a 100 shot and yes i have put colder plugs in it already i was just wondering if i could up the spray alittle on the stock tune..
I wouldnt spray any on a stock tune. Im not sure how people speed thousands of dollars on mods then want to cheap on the one thing that will help them the most. Is it really worth hurting your motor to save $400-$500 by not getting it tuned?
