Also if it says to richen it up for the nano, and the baseline recommended jetting is already a tad(or alot) rich, couldn't adding the nano and pulling out say 4-6 more degrees of timing make it closer for a starting point?
Can always add the timing back in and be safer with it pulled out and get to play the lean game?

Doesn't look like its very hot, see if u can rub that color off the strap with your thumb. Can't see the fuel ring but still don't look as if its got a lot of heat in it. Best way to tell how good your fuel is to cut it open.

How many passes on the plugs? Definitely fat, but u said you had a leaky nano so I would definitely give that some attention. I don't know if its just bc I'm on my phone but it looked like to me on the motor pass it was smokin it was so rich? What are your wideband readings on that. You may just be masking a rich n/a tune?

Well I guess I'll be pulling the heads off. I had oil on #3, #7,#8 plugs. The motor has less than 1,000 miles on it. I replaced the valve seals and it stoped smoking and the plugs were dry. No after driving to the track and runnin this past sunday those same cylinders have oil on the plugs again. I assume the valve guides are screwed and causing the seals to wear out really quick.
