Default Finally got some runs in on a small shot(408 LS3)

Had some issues with the nitrous not coming on til after the 60ft.With that problem (TPS not showing 90% to activate mini controller) on a .061 jet I ran a 6.27@ 106 which I thought the MPH was low for that pass. ran the 1/4 I still dont think the nitrous came on when it was supposed to it ran a 6.45 @106.7 1/8 10.14@133.49 on the .061 jet. checked the log on that run and AFR was 10.90-11.2 IIRC. We still have some work to do but I drove the car an hour there beat the **** out of it and drove it home. I really think I could have gotten a 5.90 with a solid pass right out of the hole with a better afr and some timing work. Timing was at 15 degrees

first motor 1/8 mile pass 6.97@101
http://youtu.be/bE8rKa6qzto
10.45@132 pass on the .061 jet spun and peddled it a little.

Last pass 6.45@106 1/8 10.14 @133 1/4 1.45 60ft

Sounds like you have a strong setup there. Your timing was at 15* from where? On the 1/4 pass if the tune up was a little leaner it might of clicked off a 9.99 even with the delay.

Got any vids?

I ran the same times on my stock Ls3 with a 229/236 Tsp cam. Even went 113mph not spraying to the 60ft to avoid breaking my stock rear end.

Are you going to try and run Real Street with this car next year?

The timing on motor is 26* and 15* on nitrous. On the 6.27 1-8 mile pass would have been good for a high 9 even with the tune up the way it is. It sucks the track didn't have the 1-4 mile timmer working in that lane. The timing mark on the plug is right where the strap meets the threads. Not sure which way to go with the timing from there.

Every Engine will be different but most most of the time the mark should be before the bend. Im thinking your undertimed, add a degree and see what the mph does. Most of the time adding timing will go further down the bend towards the threads but i think your undertimed is why it looks that low. Post some pics up.

Pull a couple degrees of timimg before making the next pass. On the bottle, your plugs are damn near glowing. You don't want the timimg mark that far pass the bend. What plugs are you running? New plugs, new timimg, better et.

Once you pull your fuel out, that thing is gonna be way overtimed(going by what you are saying). Pull 3 degrees and pull fuel out, you can always add the timing back in as needed.

50 psi fuel pressure. I dont remember what I had figured out for thr fuel jet without checking my book. I think .038 because I was told to up the fuel jet for the Nano. My nano lost pressure due to a leakey valve which could have caused the rich condition.

I'm told down inside the plug around the base of the porcelin is the place to look for the fuel ring.

Running any kind of airfilter with that throttle body? That the accufab? I'm prolly getting the FAST 4150.

Which plate? Generic calculator I see the smarter guys using says roughly a .034 fuel jet assuming 1000psi bottle pressure which having a .038 fatter jet along with losing bottle pressure would put the screws to your program.
