Smile Noob spray question

When you buy forged internals for spray. Do you want to raise or lower your compression?

Depends on what type of fuel you want to run and how aggressive you get with the tune up i.e jet size, afr ratio, and timing.

Depending on specifics but usually nitrous loves higher compression.

.

For a max effort N2O combo, most guys are shooting for ~13.5-1.
I'm actually lowering my new set up from 15.8-1 so I can spray more.

Forged internals just means it will be stronger and hold up to more power and abuse..

Nitrous loves higher compression...
Just have to be careful with the timing, and what plugs you use..
Detonation(technically, pre-ignition) is your biggest enemy.
With higher compression comes more potential for pre ignition...

Just means you need a better tune and possibly some higher octane fuel or some methanol to help compensate

.

That's why they have -11 plugs, and 120+ fuel.
It is amazing how much easier it is to go fast, run hard now a days compared to when I started.
I don't think it sounds like a max effort deal, but as mentioned, more compression then stock will give you free HP with the proper knowledge to keep it together!!
