Default personal best on nitrous but still not satified!!

what are u guys thoughts on these time slips. mods are ported 92/92, 228 cam, pacesetters 150,000 mile bottom end, th400 with a tight 3600 converter with 373 gear on 18inch zo6s on all 4 and on a mail tune from frost.

motor pass:
60ft......1.83
330......5.37
1/8.......8.27
1/8mph...84.5

nitrous pass 150 shot with nitrous outlet plate
60ft.......1.43
330........4.39
1/8.........6.89
1/8mph....97.8

the nitrous pass is my personal best and i was happy but after looking at others setups that are close to mines looks like something is still wrong.

personally, I think 1.38 secs is a d healthy gain in the 1/8. Also, thats looking like a 10.7 ET in 1/4.

Get that 60' and 330' down and you will pick up a good bit.

i am going to the track next week for the first time on nitrous but i am not sure how much i can spray yet. Everyone says i am good for 150 on my stock ls1 bottom end but i dont think they take into consideration that i am putting 450rwhp/427rwtq NA. I finish installing the nitrous kit this weekend and tested it out on a 75 shot

I could be wrong but your nitrous times look good and your na times seem bad.

i was thinking the exact thing but i guess i need to get a full dyno tune to see whats really going on. It just puzzles me on how it can be that slow on motor then be fairly ok on the nitrous maybe the nitrous is covering up something

Your tune could be way off N/A and when you hit the bottle you have the right timing and fuel for the extra air. I would deffinately get the tune worked out before you do much more racing and especially on the bottle. Doing the tune can also help find out if there are any issues in your setup, bugs to work out etc.

Does your N/A tune have timing pulled for nitrous full-time or are you using a timing tuner? That can account for it... I can't remember your real name from your screen name or I'd pull your file right now and check it out.

And u might want to save up for a different rear cause that 10 bolt might not take to many pf those 60fts.
