SSnakekiller is correct.there's just one exception. A lot of aftermarket warranties include a clause saying the warranty is void if the vehicle is modified in any way. most manufacturer's warranties do not. i recommend only manufacturer warranties/extended warranties. all those other warranty companies will burn you if you mod your car.

well shafted by the time your ink dries, read the fine
print.
c) warranty companies don't survive by paying out on
avoidable claims.
But if the service manager is your buddy and you don't
look like a mooch, who only shows up when **** goes
wrong, after you make it go wrong, you can catch a
break. As long as the adjuster is somewhere else.

fork up the extra $$ for the GM warranty, you'll be better off
