I was planning on pulling one more no doubt but didn't think about leaning her out. I will try this next time out unless the weather is better, if so i will pull one more and leave the same jet.

gator's 99TA did you run a 93 jet on these 300 hp tune ups?
Yes sir, 93 jet....

Fbodyjunkie06 Man carter your car works awesome. Is that 3365 with you in it? 300 out the hole timing pulled or not is simply bad ***. You got limiters on the front end?

Congrats, your running really good times for such a mild cam setup. I always ran the V3 in my street cars with good luck..Dont be scared of the radials, I used to have 1.30 60ft with 325/50/15's leaving on a 300 shot when my car was still a full weight streetcar.

Just wondering though, how is your stock block holding up to a 300 shot? That's unbelievable! How?

It has allot to do with starting out with a mechanically sound engine. Then it takes a whole lot of reading, asking questions and listening to the right people. The tune is the most important part to keep the motor together but running the number takes suspension and tires.

Ya just need to find a way to get another 100 lbs out of the car or something, I'm 100% that you're heavier then the guys with similar setups were when they went that fast. I had my car at 3350 when it was last running and I know now how much more there is to take out past that..

Shoot me a call when you get some time and I probably can steer you to some weight that you can take out before you go again, try to make sure that there's nothing left on the table.

As you know, the # of times you can do what you're doing on that motor are somewhat limited, so before it gives up the ghost, try to see what you can do to get the weight down... give that little guy a fighting chance at that .50!

Thanks. Stall is a custom spec from Greg at FTI, stalls about 4200 on the TB. I don't drive it allot on the street but it is very streetable. Yes I have a TH400.

Thanks Nick! The stock rails have surprised me.

Only problem I think I'm having now is blowing though the converter just a bit. When Greg speced the converter I told him a 150 shot and now I'm on a 300. Time to get a restall but I'm trying to wait until I get a new bullet.

Wait you don't have a dedicated fuel cell for the nitrous enrichment, your pulling fuel from the rail? Dang gives me hope, I was leaning towards a dry shot to have to stay away from a seperate fuel cell and system.

dedicated fuel cells are good but not needed for a good fuel system.

They surprised me too! You just seem to have the perfect combo and perfect tuning. Just get that converter restalled and i cant wait to see your new times!. Keep up the good work Andy!
