Alright guys I'm looking for a good N2O cam that is going in my daily driver. I'm going to be running the TNT 150 shot on top of it along with Mac hearders and other boltons. Stock cubes, stock heads. I'm debating between a comp 218/224 .563/563 112 or 114 LSA and the Gm hotcam. What are your opinions on the better cam or a suggestion on any cam? Also, would a 112 or 114 LSA be better suited for N2O use???
The car is an '99 Z28 M6 with 3.42 gears.

i heard the 112 is good because it does not build as much cyl. pressure with the low LSA. a T1 (221/.558/112) ALWAYS works well with MN6's. Just get a HPP3, drill the tb a bit, and haul ***.
oh... a local guy went 11.4's with a t1, macs, and a hidden 100 or 125 shot. (drag radials i think)

I would go with a cam that favors the exhaust duration 10 degrees @.050 and .010-.015 on the exhaust. 112 is a good lsa for spray. I would have to see your flow numbers at the various lifts to help more but as long as you get somthing in there that has the same amount of lift as your heads peak flow you will be good. also remember that what we are trying to do is fill the cylinder with as much spray as possible so you will want a cam that pops the valve open at just the right time so your air speed is at its peak. Th e trick is to have it aggressive enough but not overly aggressive..The later will eat valve springs. Call me with your heads numbers and I'll be most happy to help you.

I've heard that the GM hotcam is a fairly good choice for N2O. What are your thoughts? BTW, I have the F-1 dry kit on order and can't wait to try it out. 1st time N2O user!

What about a cam something like this:
.563/.563 224/228 with either a 112 or 114 LSA
On an A4. This would go on with Heads as well.
Car most likely see about a 100-150 shot.
Which LSA would work best and what kinda converter would you recommend?
PS - Car will have programming done as well.

I'm getting alot of conflicting responses on that subject. Some say the 112, some say 114???

thats a good cam, 114 or 112. if you going to do custom programming (which youll need anyway) get it on a 112. sounds better and its better for N2O. just make sure to get some good springs.

i didnt say that was a bad *** time, just that it is fast (uhhh .3 faster than you ) and i was backing up my T1 for N2O argument. and an auto with a wet 150 is A LOT different than a 6-spd with 125 dry.
