I could also use help with this one. Right now I have the now Quarter Mile Performance Lid along with their bellows and I shaved a shitload off the bellows and some off the lid and I had to near kill myself getting it to push together. The tabs will not stay in on one side though!

I used a MTI lid, after I ruined 2 SLP ones.

Just go slow and take your time.

I had this very same problem and I am not going to cut my Lid or anything else. When I ordered this from them I was under the understanding that this was a direct bolt without any hacking or as the said cutting. They told me that they put these on all of the time which is obvious by the # of cars running them but I don't see why there is so many issues with something that is made for an F-Body.And also when ordering this from them not once did they ask what type of Lid I had or say that there was anything to be aware of when installing the ring.So I called them this morning to find out what the problem was and they said that the Whisper Lid needed to be cut and whatever else.So then I was tranferred over to someone else because I wanted my $ back and was mailing their stuff back and then they come up with "they normally don't do returns and there was a 30% as they said restocking Fee" and that isn't right because no where on the Receipt and Invoice does it say that.So I hope that these guys straghten it out with me and I think that in the future they need to be up front with people and tell them 1st not after they try to put it on.I am still waiting on my call back on my Refund Issues.I am currently going with a whole nother setup for 1/2 of the $ and no issues.

Try cutting the radiator shroud below the MAF so it sits lower. It will give it a better angle into the power ring. I used the stock bellow because it can be compressed very tight

I finally got it. I took a slp lid and took a 1/4 inch off it. Then I took the stock bellows and took a 1/4 inch off it to. Now it fits very snug.

I ran the TNT kit when it first came out and I had to hack the **** out of my Whisper lid to get it on there, really pissed me off.

then when i sold the kit i had to do some pretty heavy rigging to get the lid to still work without the kit in there anymore..looked like crap until I recently replaced it with a different setup.
