Get a set of Mechanix gloves and pull them on the return road.

That is if your track has a nice empty area on the return road.

My track has tons of room to pull off on the return road or at the end of the shutdown where it turns to the right to connect to the return road. This is where I got my initial plug reading on the first pass of the night.

You will also need a TB style plate the same size as your TB if you want to change from a nozzle to a plate.

On I was thinking of getting the carb style one the tb ill be upgrading to a 90 tb so I should get a 90 plate right ? I was going to do a two stage one in a plate and the other on a direct port. Would that be any good

Wait you have a vic jr. I see. Never mind.

Wait, are you running an elbow on top of your vic jr. to a throttle body? Or is it just a fast or accufab type throttle body sitting on top of the intake.

I would think even if it's an elbow and a 90mm tb you would still use a carb style most likely 4150 nitrous plate.

I would ask Nitro Dave.

I personally would put a carb style 4150, but then you might run into clearance issues, which would put you back at a EFI style 90 mm plate.

You really need a accufab or fast type 4150 throttle body, a 4150 plate and a cowl hood. I know that's money, but what you have will work for now.

i seen the 4150 nitrous plate pretty thin. i don't mind slightly cutting i thought i was going to have to cut with the elbow anyways. i seen it about a 1/4 in thick if im not mistaken. the 4150 tb would be coming soon. i just need to do one thing first. if not my girl is going to kill me, if u know what i mean. after that i can start poring money back in to the car.

whats on the list for the car after i get my girl what i promised her is

4150 tb
weld prostars
new nos kit
sub frame connectors
cage and diet

iv been rebating in building a 370ci but not im stuck between that and a 383ci don't know what route to go.

i went with an ol/sd street tune car ran nice. alot smoother than before. got running right at all motor. did my first nitrous pull on high way with 100 to see how it went. then put the 150 pills in and when we were going for the 150 pull the tranny fell apart. not on high way two blocks away. so i didn't get to tune for the 150. deff felt alot better on the 100 and now my car is pulling til 6500. before the car would brake up at 5200 it was like hitting the wall. now pulls str8 threw 6500. another tranny rebuild and then we will see what happens with the 150.

I just noticed that youre in Miami. Im across the state in ft myers. You should make a trip over and see how the Ft. Myers boys do it.

Sorry to hear about your trans bro. What are your plans for the new trans? I have a friend wanting to sell a BAD *** 4l60E. I will PM you with the details.

A Th350 really isn't going to like the weight of your car and the power it's going to put out.

At 3000 for sure, but a TH350 isn't going to like a 3500-3600lb+ raceweight vehicle with 500+rwhp let alone 650+rwhp or more and a lot more torque.

TH400 would be better, but I do know of one guy on here with boost who had great luck with a FTI TH350 in a 3800lb car, but I'm sure it had billet internals/hard parts.

That trans brake you have now and converter should both work in your TH400 with no problem. Converter for sure, trans brake 75%-80% sure.

i was reading last night on here a couple people running the th350 successfully on a 3800 # car but then again like u said might be fully billet inside.

im looking for a dd right now so i car really get in to working on the car and getting some weight off and things like that the tranny has gone on me on regular driving so there has to be a problem. i still haven't used the tbrake on it or taken it to the track. my last time out was with just a transgo shift kit i got to brake in to the 7s and it gave out that night. rebuilt it with all new clutches and the jw tbrake and then the trans has failed twice on regular driving

i know the th400 will hold alot more that the th350 didn't want to take another lost iv already to much for being broke u know. i trashed a 4l60 with shift kit the converter paid almost 800 for it and sold for 500. so i cant really take much more loss. the t brake from the th350 wont fit the th400 and i gotta extend drive shaft and all that other stuff that i was trying to avoid.
