Default dyno n20 tunning need some suggestions and hp input

hey guys i have 99 ta mods on sig i have the edelbrock already on and i am going to hit it with a 150, its going to be a speed density tune. now the tuner told me to get one step leaner and one step richer for the fuel side for tuning. what jets would i have to get. what can i expect out of the car hp wise i don't know if its going to be a mustang dyno or a dyno jet im basically full bolt on's and some extras like the th350 and suspension.

did your tuner aso tell you to get some colder plugs? my guess is if you are going by a companys chart it will take a little more than 1 step leaner on the fuel side to get the tune cleaned up.

I'm sure all these are going to tell you br7efs. I know plenty of people may tell you tr6's are fine beca but from what I've learned so far is you should really be using a BR style plug not TR. .... Correct me if I'm wrong

i cant correct if i don't know lol. i did what my tuner told me simply because iv seen the cars hes tuned and there flying. i was going to get the br's but cant find them so that's why i went tr6. now he told me this morning to get two jets leaner and richer than suggested but i don't know how far. i asked him and he told me one step leaner and one step richer left me dumb.

Go to napa if there is one around. Search the web. Lucky me there is a Napa around the block from my garage I paid $1.80 per plug I bought 40 only catch is it took a day or 2. I called up the local speed shop prior to that it was 2.99 a plug, and if I bought 50-60 he was gonna do 2.50 per. Shop around look for a napa though. BTW stock# is 3346

i didn't have a nitrous issue. when i put everything back together the car was tripping cuz i had 3 leaking injectors. im guessing that was my problem at the track couple months ago. plus i think the motor was also starving for air with the ls1 intake .

Find a new tuner!

The vic jr will feel slower because it will lose low end tq and make stall tighter.
Spray it out of the hole and it will loosen up.

Do some seaching, lots of threads about plugs and jetting in this section.

Not going to offend me because he doesnt know anything about tuning N20. Do yourself a favor, Keep looking or let him tune everything but the N20 and do that yourself.
Now is the time to learn while your still on a small shot.

Put the #7 plug in it.

Nitto's suck.
