What were the rest of your times with that 12.2? Like the 60' and 1/8 mile times. How much does your car weight and what are your rear gears? What size stall is in the car and are you foot braking or trans braking? Also, what are your cam specs? To be truthful, I would think your car should be running a little bit faster on the motor with those mods. Back when my car was full weight and motor only with almost the same mods, I was running deep 11's.

I have a 2001 trans am ws6 with a cast iron 5.3 bored to 3.903 (347) with forged bottom end . Patriot ls6 heads 232 236 nitrous cam 114lsa .615 lift and all the Boltons and stock ls6 intake with stock throttle body . It has a turbo 400 with a 4500 stall and either 3:73 or 3:42 gears , it has BMr tubular k member ,no back seats or seatbelts and BMr suspension in the back lca, drag bar ect . I think the car is just rlly heavy my 60' was 1.7 my 8th was 7.8 at 92mph and the quarter was 12.227 at 113* mph

Yeah, before you go to nitrous I would get the N/A figured out!! Even with the car that heavy, your should be 60' a lot better. Sounds like you need some suspension tuning. Does the trans have a brake or are you foot braking it? Are your shocks stock or aftermarket?

There is a lot more going on that suspension quirks lol. I do not mean to insult, but your times are horrid, the mph is even worse. That car is definitely hurting somewhere. Id do a compression test. That car is NOT heavy especially with a tubular k member, no backseats or belts. My buddy's CAM ONLY 228R/4k stall T/A ran 11.90's with around the same trap speed. You need to investigate. Id post this over in the Gen III internal engine section for more info. I would not be considering nitrous at all right now.

I was thinking I was having a valve float issue the car made 400 hp on a mustang dyno but at 5800 Rpms it completely leveled out . Ya the car does have some things to lighten it up but it also has a cast iron block with a turbo 400 . The car is leavin off te foot brake for now it does have a transbrake though . It's doesn't spin at all I have all BMR suspension adjustable tq arm , lca relocation, drag bar . I posted my time slip in the drag result section I will post my dynograph soon

I've been running nitrous plugs br7ef do you guys think that would cause a problem n/a? This is driving me crazy i thought for sure i would go 11.5 ish n/a and mid tens on a 150 shot. The only 2 things that i brought to the machine shop that assembled my engine that were used out of the ls1 that went crazy lean and destroyed the motor were the cam and the springs. Im kind of leaning towards changing the cam and the springs.

No I don't think the machine shop inspected everything it made power all the way up to 5800 Rpms it was climbing hard then all of a sudden it just stops and the line flattens out and it goes up and Down ... Could my 30lb injectors cause this ?

The motor would breath a lot better with a fast 92/92 setup. But I don't think that is whats holding him back right now. What was your n/a air fuel ratio on your dyno run?
