Default Nitrous Outlet solenoid Hz? (NOS mini progressive controller)

Hi all,

Doing a nitrous install for a buddy using a Nitrous Outlet 400hp+ nitrous solenoid and a NOS mini progressive.

We're trying to get the controller set up and we are at step F. trying to enter in the correct value for solenoid frequency. Can anyone confirm the correct amount of (Hz) for these solenoids?

Thanks in advance.

No worries sir.

Also, for some reason after going through the programming it looks like only channel 2 is activated even though its not hooked up? We are seeing "R 2" on the hand held display which doesn't seem right.

Can somebody confirm if we should be seeing "1 R" on the hand held display?

Also set the solenoid frequency to 15 Hz, so if that is incorrect please let us know. Thanks!

I run the nos mini with NX lightning solenoid on my bike.. 15hz works great.

It displays r-r when ready.

When the input signal is triggered, it will display 1 - r (System is active and spraying..)

1 - r at system reset is not normal. One of your triggers is stuck open- either TPS, WOT, etc.

Still seeing R 2 on the hand held when we arm the system. I don't understand because channel 2 wasn't even hooked up.
TPS is tapped into the signal wire and we perform the TPS setting fine (step 9).
Once we get to the end of programming for channel 2 it says "END" like it should, then it changes to "R 2". I'll even hit button 1 and it will change to "R R" for about 2 seconds, then switch back to "R 2"

Edit: just verified and definitely getting correct TPS & RPM signals.

WTF

Either it is not wired right or is malfunctioning. Mine works fine. It displays r r when armed. Something is making yours go right to channel 2. Weird.

Just noticed that whenever the key is in the "on position", car off the hand held shows r r.

When I turn the car on it instantly goes to r 2.

Yes, also spoke with Chris & Shane at N.O.S.

Going to need to send the box in for warranty work as it seems to be defective. On top of whats going on with the controller, the hand held unit it self does not make a solid connection with the USB cord. We actually have to hold the USB into the hand held unit to establish a connection.
