Default NEED HELP.. just bought a F1 kit... did I get the wrong kit??

Well I just got an F1 kit... and well the Power ring looks wrong compared to in the instructions and the pill sizes are different than what is in the instructions... can someone clear some of this up for me?? the Power ring actually looks like a Mustang 4.6 power ring after looking at their website... the nozzles are at 10 and 2 instead of 3 and 9 ... and there is NO 5/16's hole on the top to mount the brackets to for the solenoids... where am I supposed to mount the solenoids??? and the pill sized on the card with the pills has different numbers than what the instructions says about the pill sizes... did I get the Wrong KIT??? did TNT screw up?? or has the kit changed?? thanks for the help... I'm really wanting to get this thing hooked up but need this cleared up first sorry so long

thanks for the help...

I have never seen the TNT kit up close, but getting the wrong kit would not be a first, happens from time to time. I would call TNT first thing Monday...they are reported to have excellent customer service. Im sure they will take care of you.

hey, special k the smae thing happened to me about a month ago, they gave me the same power ring, a different bracket to hold the noids, different pill sizes, all the same nonsense, i 've been meaning to call them and ask what the deal is, but the day i recieved it i put it on and had to do some serious rigging of mounting the noids and stuff because i had dyno time the next day for free so i wasn't going to past that up, if you call and talk to them let me know what they say, i would greatly appreciate it.

i bought the same kit, and mine looks just like yours, i haven't installed mine yet either because i haven't had time, but i read somewhere that they did change the kits, and you had to rig it yourself, i am too dissapointed about that.

the newer kits are not at 9 and 3. they moved the location of the nozzle holes. also, the newer kits dont have a hole at the top for a bracket. im not sure why they changed.

You got the newer design. Only the older kits have the 3 and 9 with the mounting bolt on top.

yep I called and talked to them... I got the new kit design they changed it... but for some reason I didn't get the new bracket ... so I had to to my own creative solenoid mounting... i guess they still need to change the directions... man that power ring was hard to get one....

I'm hoping for around 475rwhp with the 150 jets through the TH400 and over 600rwtq... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> It should "Boogie" pretty good... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I'm even thinking about going full spool out back so I can launch off the T-brake with the spray.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
