Some like to use the limiters some don't. I like allowing the shock to control the front end's rate of rise instead of putting a limiter on it and forcing the shock to top out before it would without the limiter on.
When you've got a set of shocks as good as I do on the front with so much rebound left in them putting limiters on them is really a waste. Again this is my opinion, and everyone seems to have one regarding the use of limiters.
I'm also actually trying to gain more separation, squat is bad

I personally like to let the shock do it's job until it can't anymore.

Well one of them starts bragging to the other that his car went 5.80's in the 1/8 this weekend. I think about what your stock bottom end LS1 is doing Cam and I start to shake my head at the guys. His car is a gutted tin can with no interior, back half car, with a 600+ cu in high compression BBC on spray at that!
I would love to line your car up against his *** and then pop the hood to **** him off. Why are most of these old guys stuck in the stone ages?

I know this is off topic but I was getting some lunch and a couple of local old racers were there and they usually hang out at a guy's house down the street from mine that does chassis work.

haha, he needs to burn that thing then. I mean Cam's car is bad ***, so is Whtltone's, but no 600 inch BBC with spray in a backhalf car should only be going 5.80s... I have a customer with an N/A 540 with conventional heads, stock suspension, 3000lbs, and it goes 5.80's.
That being said, LS1's are bad ***....
