Why is there no thread for the *Truely stock* cars with a kit?!
I spent literaly 2hours going thru threads on here looking for one with track times for Truely stock ls1 cars. All I found was stock internals(full bolt-ons,lightened),cam only, stock short block, etc.
I'm looking for the factual numbers on cars that are literaly stock with the exception of tires, and a kit. If these exist. No full exhaust, etc.
I have a 98 z28,with an a4,literaly stock down to the muffler. I'm planning on strapping a kit to it,and a tire, and having fun. I'm Curious to see what I should expect.
Post away,if u fit in to this. Lay it out like this......
Year/make/tire/kit info
Et/mph
HP/tq #'s
Thanks,
Dale

Why wasn't I informed of this shocking development. Stone stock we had the Formula's going 11.80's on stock Eagle GS-C's. 11.50's with the Nittos. Converter and MT Radials got 'em real close to 11.0. We were shooting 150ish.

well results will vary obviously but with proper traction a 100 shot should atleast pick you up around a half second in the 1/8 th and 150 shot around .7-.8 tenths give or take. i would get something to pull a few degrees of timing and drop in some colder plugs. opinions and results will vary so take my opinion as just that.

125hp nx express maf kit on a stock 6spd, 02 z = 11.0 and with the infamously hated TR6S in it at the time. not sure if a ls6 counts in your
thread. ALOT can be had with a 150 kit.
I don't see why a stock auto lsx can't go 10s pretty easy. of course the trans and rear end might check out before it happens.

i've stuck 125 and 100 on 2 diff bone stock z28s (98 3.23 geared and 01 2.73 gear) back in the day. Nothing but a dry shot and br7ef and they went 7.70s at 91mph on street tires, 17s. A4's. 11.99 @ 119.
Id at least yank a few degrees out if you are running 28*.
I just sprayed 2 full bottles through a ctsv last weekend on a 150. Its stock with a cold air intake and tune. Nitrous is cheap fun
