Rewiring Horn for N2O
Can the horn button on the steering wheel be rewired/reprogrammed to activate Nitrous? Can you set it up so when not armed works as horn and when armed activates?
Any info regarding this is appreciated.
Thanks

Actually ..yes I believe you could do this quite easily.I dont think you can do it with an arming switch ..but run a second switch to simply switch between horn and noids. I am not going to rack my brain with the details since Im so tired..youll have to draw it out..or get someone how is good with wireing diagrams to draw it. It should be failry straight forward. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Lol.... Mines already wired sorta like that. Except I just deleted the left horn altogether and put a better easier to operate switch in place. Also I use it to deactivate the nitrous for first gear by holding it down during luanch. Then let it go when traction comes in and then proceed as normal after that.

I have done it before, but I changed it because my thumb got sore from holding the horn down. Our horns are kinda hard to push. all you need is a switch wired in the line from the horn. just find your horn I think on the passenger side in front of wheel (near the foglight) attatch a long wire to the "hot" lead back to your switch and back, and another to noids. one position on switch should be horn other noids. hope this helps its easy...but hard to write down.
Does anyone know the part number for the fog light switch or one that will fit in one of those spaces, preferably one that will light so I know which way it is switched?
