Default SBE M6 1st time out on the gas

Just a street car - full weight - 100 shot on a dynotune plate kit/jetting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wu4K...ature=youtu.be

Breakdown on the slip:

60 - 1.546
330 - 4.504
1/8 - 6.950
MPH - 100.51
1000 - 9.045
1/4 - 10.794
MPH - 129.40

60' - needs some work.

Car went 11.5's@120-121 on the motor same day. With the same 60's.

Not as fast as some of the race cars here - just figured I'd share

Sweet car. Hell I would have been happy with the 11.5's.

Congrats on the 10second slip. Nice way to row your own gears. Good job.

Very nice!

What clutch, master and transmission set-up do you have?

Always nice to see a M6 street car in the 10's especially on such a small shot of juice!

Took the car out today on 150 shot.

on the motor it ran 11.7@118 - so it was down 2 mph for whatever reason.

Picked up 13 mph on the bottle - 10.65@131

Only got 3 passes as the track was packed. Was hoping for faster, it'll have to wait until next year.

I don't lift - but the kit turns off when the clutch pedal is pushed.

Car is moving out for sure.

What are you launching at? Do you know what the rpm is when the clutch engages and pulls the motor down when you're releasing the clutch? There is probably some 60' and 330' to be gained by raising your launch rpm.

Martin - I was leaving @ 5700.

There is plenty left in it - the track was packed and I only got 3 runs in. I played it conservative to get it down the track.

I hear ya on that, they were good runs for sure.

Now raise that limiter to 6200 and let it fly!
