Isn't 100 octane enough to support the spraying needs??

if u use leaded fuel expect to buy new O2 sensors... dont use it... 100 Oct is plenty, if u must have more use a booster as well

I run 100 octane and nothing else. I have heard that leaded fuel will mess up an O2 sensor, but have never seen it firsthand. You can get 110 unleaded, I think, but why? 100 works great, and you may not even need that high of an octane. Race gas is a waste of money unless you have some knock with lower octane fuel.

100 is fine for that shot of nitrous.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll get some unleaded race fuel and add the NX OBDII fuel booster. It'll get diluted with a little 93 octane since I drive to and (hopefully) from the track.

Hoping for some 10's.......

I would not run more than 100 octane either unless your heads are milled some.My o2's still worked plenty good before my tranny went out.

Default Race Fuel ?

I'll soon be running a 100hp wet TNT kit on my heads/cam/stock bottom end car.

What race fuel should I be running? Is the leaded fuel O.K. as long as the cats are gone?

Sunoco makes an unleaded 104 octane. I think that would work perfectly. This is what I plan on using when running my 150-200 shot.

Hey Scotty

We usually run the 104. I'm about to order 275 gallons for personal use and the shop. I'm at home now and should be running soon Motor is supposed to be going in the car again this weekend. Too much octane won't hurt anything and you definitely don't want not enough.

Like many others have said the lead will destroy the 02's. If you've ever replaced them you know they are expensive too
