Default 300 Shot on 99TA

Just came back from the local shop. They also do NOS custom installs and have a dynojet.

The head mech was talking about a 300 Shot NOS setup. Custom Wet setup, Dual fogges, Aux Pump & the most expensive NOS Progressive controller (whichever that is).

I believe it was close to stock otherwise and put down 650rwhp.

Just FWIW. Hasn't blown up yet.

SRC, Street Rods & Classics did the work in Boca, SE Florida. They've done many many NOS installs over the last 12 years.

Sounds like a good setup. Will be interesting to follow-up in a few months to see how the rodss & rod bolts are holding.

I hear he's broken 1 tranny and 2 rear ends. He now has a super duper A4 Tranny, but I forget the specs. I'm an M6 guy.

He's doing good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Helped me install a PCV filter today. I don't trust myself, LOL! He had a SC'd LT1 and a Mustang in the shop today. Cobra replica too.

He was very impressed the LS1 was holding up to the 300 shot. Also really liked the NOS controller.

I'm considering SRC for my D1-SC install. Whatcha think? Good idea?
He flew out to Puerto Rico to do a custom L98 install awhile back too. I shoulda asked how she dyno'd. Was for a road race setup.

Just to clear up a few things:

Not a 99

Not a 300 shot (or even close)

Not 650RWHP (or even close)

Broken 7 transmissions

Broken 0 rearends

I would reccommend SRC for anything you are thinking of. They are a top-notch shop, #1 all the way.

HaHa..

So it was yours?

George doesn't strike me as the type to exaggerate tho, u sure it wasn't another car? Coulda sworn he said a '300' shot. What are you running?

You have an Aux pump & a Wet setup? What are you running & what are your #'s? What kind of NOS controller are you using?

Thx!

Well, wither thats my car, or SRC built me a clone <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Dyno #'s are not final, and I have not attempted a pass in the car since November. My last full pass (spray) was approx. August. This set up has been quite a while in development <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Perhaps someday I'll get a pass.... When I stop blowing **** up... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
