Default Recommended timing on a H/C+150 shot

Just had car dyno'd and it made 400whp/367tq with 26 deg and 12.8-12.9's Air Fuel N/A.
On a 150 shot sould I just go by the 2deg for every 50hp rule of thumb? So 20 deg? I think it was AtvRacer or Carter, that Recommended and had best track results with more timing pulled and leaner afr's [in the mid to high 12's] And there are others that say as much timing as 22-24 deg? i'm working some gremlins ATM, but i'm strapping her again on the dyno and re-tuning on Nitrous..

No tuning on the dyno........Get with ATV on the lean and low.

what's the reasoning behind not tuning on a dyno? Skew up inaccurate readings or just that pulling and ck'ng plugs is a better way?.
Hopefully ATVracer would chime in..

With tuning on a dyno you can get away with more timing and sometimes you can't get enough heat in the cylinders. If you tune it like that on the dyno and then go to the track, kiss your engine goodbye.

From your 26° n/a tune you will probably want to take out at least 2-4°. There are a lot of vehicles on here hitting 150hp shots with newhere from 22-26° of timing in their tunes.

i was told 11.5-11.8 its safe for afr's on 93 pump gas, isnt that a little on the rich side?

We typically tune our cars and customers to around 11.8-11.9 on the AFR. 11.5 is still ok but anything lower than that is too rich IMO.
